On Saturday, 19 September 2026, we had the privilege of welcoming Gábor Rózsa Sensei to Baden for the dojoHUB Kumite Seminar 2026.
The morning gave us an opportunity to explore the foundations behind his remarkable speed and explosiveness, understand how he develops these qualities and discover new ways to work on them in our own training.
Returning to the basics
Alongside many practical ideas and exercises, the seminar reminded us of something fundamental: progress continues to be built on the basics.
No matter how experienced we become, it remains essential to return to them, train them consciously and keep refining even the smallest details.
We left the tatami with new inspiration, renewed motivation and plenty to continue working on.
Continuing beyond the seminar
The following day, we continued our exchange with Gábor Sensei behind the camera and recorded a new collection of Kumite tutorials for dojoHUB.
Seminars bring knowledge to life. They allow us to feel the energy of training together, exchange ideas, ask questions and receive direct feedback from the instructor. These are experiences that digital content cannot replace.
However, attending a seminar is not always possible. Travel, schedules and costs can make participation difficult — and even when we are there, it is impossible to remember every explanation and detail.
This is where dojoHUB complements the seminar experience. The upcoming tutorials will preserve Gábor Sensei's ideas and insights in a structured library of knowledge. Karateka will be able to revisit individual details as often as needed, return to points that may have slipped from memory and continue working with the material in their own training.
The recordings are now moving into production, and we expect the first tutorials to become available within the next few weeks.
Thank you
Gábor Sensei, thank you sincerely for travelling to Baden, sharing your knowledge and experience so openly and inspiring everyone who trained with us.
We would also like to thank every karateka who joined the seminar and contributed to such a focused, positive and energetic atmosphere on the tatami.
Osu.
